Quick start

IP Context helps you verify the public IPv4 or IPv6 address your traffic is using, together with carrier or hosting context, regional estimates, and a machine-readable view of the same data.

1. Open the lookup

Visit the home page. The result card populates automatically for your current session. To inspect a different public address (one you are authorized to query), enter it in the field and choose Lookup.

2. Review context on the card

Read country, region, city (when available), time zone, organization or ASN label, and an inferred network type (for example residential, mobile, or datacenter). These values are derived from industry IP intelligence and routing data, not from files on your device.

3. Map link (optional)

When coordinates are present, Open on Google Maps shows the approximate centroid returned by the database. Treat it as a regional indicator, not a verified street address.

4. JSON for tools and scripts (optional)

Automation and dashboards can call GET /json on this host. The response is always JSON (application/json).
